I've developed and maintained many types of web applications using ASP.Net, ASP, PHP, MySQL, and MSSQL and even dabbled a bit in ColdFusion and CGI with C++ (not recommended for the sane). I have extensive experience utilizing best practices with code and UI separation and tier architectures to separate the interface, business and data layers. Most of my projects are developed so a different data layer can be dropped in that can read from MSSQL, MySQL or even Xml to make a very robust solution.

BinaryIdiot.com version 5 takes a huge step away from the previous versions of BinaryIdiot.com. Due to launch in late November 2008, BinaryIdiot.com will include multiple member services to facilitate syncronization and data management between all BinaryIdiot software offerings. This will be used to compliment the iPhone, Windows Mobile, Android, OS X and Windows applications that BinaryIdiot will be releasing within the next few years (releases will start when BinaryIdiot.com launches).
BinaryIdiot.com version 5 was created utilizing a hybred of ASP.Net and PHP architecting techniques which enforce the usage of seperating the backend code and user interface without introducing bulky state management technologies such as ViewState and ControlState. BinaryIdiot.com heavily utilizes the tiering approach to software development seperating the user interface, business and data access. BinaryIdiot.com also contains multiple web services so third party websites can take advantage of Binaryidiot.com’s data which will be initially limited to BinaryIdiot users.
Security was also taken with heavy consideration. BinaryIdiot’s database structure utilizes only stored procedures and any personal user information such as the user’s password is stored in a 512bit SHA hash to prevent any unauthorized access. I can’t even retreive someone’s password.
